COURSE	6 Lane 25 Yard Pool
START TIME	Warm Ups 2:00 PM Meet Start 2:45 PM
ELIGIBILITY	Any eligible YMCA swimmer in accordance with League rules
ENTRY FEES	Individual Events: $3.00 Relays: $10.00
DEADLINE	Thursday, October 15^th by 8:00 PM

RULES	A swimmer may swim a maximum of 3 events with at least 1 being a relay (e.g. one individual event and two relays, two individual events and one relay.) There are no qualifying times for any of the events. Age-up date: Age of the swimmer is calculated as of Oct 17, 2009 (first date of the competition). The swimmer must swim in the appropriate age group as determined by their age as of the first day of the Virtual competition. They may not swim-up to an older age group.
AWARDS	Ribbons for 1^st – 6^th All participants will receive a certificate from the YMCA of the USA. Top 20 swimmers nationally in each event will receive a certificate from the YMCA of the USA.
ADMISSIONS	No admission fee.
CONCESSIONS	There will be a concession stand.
POOL RULES	Footwear must be worn outside of pool deck. All swimmers must remain in gym when not swimming.
CONDUCT	Coaches are responsible for the conduct and supervision of your swimmers Please check your swimmers area in the gym before leaving. All swimmers are required to wear shoes outside of the pool area

Description: The YMCA Virtual Invitational is nation-wide meet open to all YMCA registered swim teams. All competition must be closed (YMCA teams only) and hosted within their local area or YMCA. The results of local team swimming meets will be consolidated into one Meet with teams awarded on their virtual place scoring.

Between October 17-25, 2009, the local YMCA competitive swimming community will come together in the world’s first and largest YMCA Swimming Invitational Meet.

Teams will swim locally but compete against other YMCA teams and YMCA swimmers from across the county. Teams and swimmers will compete for rankings (and bragging rights) in a number of age group swimming events.
