25 Yard 4 Lane Pool. Electronic Timing

START TIME

Meet will start PROMPTLY at 9:30 a.m.

Warm-Ups:    10 & under        8:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.

                       11 – 14              8:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

                       15 – 18              8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

ELIGIBILITY

All entrants must be current YMCA members. Age group determined by age of swimmer as of December 1, 2009.  Swimmers 18 and older must be in high school

ENTRY FEES

$3.00 per individual event.  $12.00 per Tidal Wave Crescendo Relay team.  Entry fees must accompany entry form or disk.  Please send ONE team check payable to:  Ashtabula Y Swim Team.  Entry fees are non-refundable.  NO DECK ENTRIES.  No refunds will be issued for scratches.  Swimmers will not be eligible to swim if entry fees are not paid.  $15 for each T-shirt ordered should be included in payment (see form).

DEADLINE

All paper and disk (hy-tek) entries are due by Friday, November 6, 2009.

AWARDS

Individual Events:  Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place.  Ribbons will be awarded for 4th – 12th place.  Relay awards will be Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals.  Heat ribbons will be awarded for all heats.  Team trophies will be awarded.

ADMISSIONS

$2.00 per non-swimmer. Heat sheets are $3.00 each.

CONCESSIONS

Full concession stand will be available throughout the meet.

POOL RULES

Official 2009 NCAA Rules for Swimming and NEO/YMCA Swim League Rules apply.  Meet will be conducted on the basis of seed times only.  Please submit swimmers best time(s) for a 25 yard pool. Swimmers are responsible for reporting to Clerk of Course.  Swimmers will be limited to 5 individual events and 1 relay.  There is no limit to the number of Tidal Wave Crescendo Relay teams a club may enter.  Age group sheets are enclosed.  Please use a separate sheet for boys and girls

RELAYS

The Tidal Wave Crescendo Relay will have 5 swimmers – one from each age group.  The 8 & under swimmers will swim 25 yards and the age 9 – 18 swimmers will swim 50 yards.  All will swim freestyle. 225 total yards.

CONDUCT

Coaches are responsible for the conduct and supervision of your swimmers Please check your swimmers area in the gym before leaving. All swimmers are required to wear shoes outside of the pool area
